Main Achievements:1. Triple a-Si:H solar cells.
2000 - 2002
Made this kind of solar cell by PECVD. Studied its characters by means of Ramman, QE. Got effiecency of 12.7%, which rank the next to the highest effiecency in the world.

2. Crystalline Si Solar Cells.
Studied the passivation emitter solar cell(PESC) and buried contact solar cell(BCSC). The highest efficiency of PESC is 19.79%, and that of BCSC is 18.6%. Both rank the highest effiecency in China.

3. Polycrystall Si thin film solar cell
Team Leader
Studied the thin film polycrystalline Si solar cells. One of direction is LPCVD+ZMR+CVD method, in whinch a set of CVD system and RT ZMR system were established. The condition to enlarge the grain size in the silicon film by ZMR was optimized.

4. Hydrogen generation by solar cell

Studied the mathod of producing H2 by means of triple junction a-Si solar cell

5. The multi-application of solar cell
2002 - 2006

Within three years, lead a group finished many solar application projects, such as a solar boat (The largest in China ), a 100kW solar cell system, a 10kW solar cell system, a 15kW solar cell system, H2 generation system by solar cell, O2 generation system by solar cell.

6. Feed-in Tariff for Renewable Energy in China: Operating Mechanisms and Policy Research

Responsible for framework design, technology analysis of PV feed-in tariff and writing the final report (2 months).

7. Assessment of the Influence of Other Relevant PV Projects on REDP and Suggested Mitigation

Responsible for framework design, questionnaire design, field investigation to Sichuan, Qinghai, and Gansu, etc.. Preparation of the final report (3 months).
