主要成果:
近年来在太阳能高温聚光器,太阳集热器热性能评价,复杂几何形体传热过程的数值模拟,辐射换热,固液相变过程的理论研究,高效换热器件的开发等方面作出了许多有创造性的成功,发表论文30余篇,发明专利5项。其主要学术贡献为:
1)完成了太阳能碟式聚光发电系统的总体设计和设备调试;
2)完成了太阳能槽式聚光发电系统的总体设计和设备调试;
3)槽式太阳能聚光器的总体设计与热工性能的瞬态模拟;
4)太阳能聚光器定日镜的总体设计和风载荷模拟;
5)了太阳能集热器热性能快速评价方法体系;
6)能真空管空气加热除湿空调系统的系统设计和设备定型; 
7)复杂船体表面的辐射、流动与导热耦合换热的研究。
研究成果:
作为主要设计者2004年11月成功组织研制了10kWt槽式太阳能聚光器。该项目2003年由国家自然科学基金西部重大项目立项。
2005年1月作为支撑结构设计者参加了直径5m单碟式太阳能聚光器研制工作。该项目2001年由国家科技部“十五”863立项。
2005年9月作为主要人员参加研制了塔式太阳能聚光用20m2圆形反射面定日镜。该项目由2005年中国科学院电工研究所“百人计划”资金立项支持。
2005年10月作为主要人员参加研制了塔式太阳能聚光用22m2矩形采光口定日镜。该项目由2005年中国科学院电工研究所资金立项支持。
2005年12月作为主要人员参加研制了2台100mm2太阳能塔式定日镜研制项目,并是其中支撑结构的主要设计者。
参加了2006年8月为国家“863”计划“碟式聚光太阳热发电系统与关键技术研究(2003AA516020)”项目研制“10m开口多碟式太阳能聚光器”的工作。
2006年9月作为主要人员参加研制了为国家“973”计划“利用太阳能规模制氢的基础研究(2003CB214505)项目” 研制“5m开口多碟式太阳能聚光器”的工作。
